Spicore utilizes a strict Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which is the overall process of developing software applications through a multi-step process from investigation of initial requirements through analysis, design, implementation and maintenance. The software development cycle by Spicore can be divided into series of steps. This multi-phase planning, design and implementation process is designed to ensure projects have predictable results and are completed according to specifications as efficiently as possible.

The steps in our Software Development Life Cycle are as follows:

• Strategize - General Requirements Proposal - Establishes a holistic view of the intended project and determines its goals. During this stage, our software development team defines the project scope and investigates your general needs and requirements. All the details about your current practices and your goals are thoroughly discussed with you. We prepare a complete specification for software development for your review and approval before proceeding further
  
  
• Architect - Functional Specifications - The goal is to refine project goals into defined functions and operation of the intended application. Based on a thorough technological analysis of your project, this document is a blue-print of the specifications of the new software product in its entirety. In this phase, the software development process, the software's overall structure and its nuances are defined. In terms of the client/server technology, the number of tiers needed for the package architecture, the database design, the data structure design etc are all defined in this phase. A software development model is created. Analysis and design are very crucial in the whole development cycle. Much care is taken during this phase.
  
  
• Engineer - Initial Software Development - The client approved functional specifications and project plan serve as the roadmap for the actual software development. After final acceptance and understanding Spicore begins the work on the software itself. Due to careful planning and creation of the functional specifications in the previous step our development team has a clear blue-print for the intended use of the software to be written.
  
  
• Testing Process - At this stage our software development team prepares the “test plan.” The plan includes all stages required for various levels of testing, such as unit testing, integration testing and system testing. The test results are recorded after executing the plan. Before the software is delivered to the client, our testers qualify the software using the test plan developed and approved by both Spicore and you as our client.
  
  
• Implement – Integration - The final part of the cycle involves running a near-complete version of the software parallel with your existing systems. This enables you to further test the software and ensure that it is performing as previously specified. Your time investment during this stage is important otherwise the project may not be as successful. Any flaws are corrected at this point providing the perfect final result.
  
  
• Technical/User Documentation - Spicore prepares all necessary Technical/User Documentation, as requested.
  
  
• Deployment - The final stage of initial development, the software is put into production and runs the actual business.
  
  
• Maintenance - The software development specialists at Spicore provide you with a full range of maintenance services from corrective maintenance (bug fixing) to software enhancement and perfection.
